My husband and I have been “trying” (no use of birth control) to conceive for just over a year now with no luck. The first few months I paid no attention to the calendar or when I could be ovulating and after a few months I was shocked I had not yet conceived. I then started counting my cycles (which are very regular) and trying to plan intercourse better. This really screwed up my cycles and started adding a lot of stress. We gave up after a year of this and are now back on the “whatever happens happens” method. I have just started fertility testing this week. I’m 36. I’ll be 37 in three months and I’m starting to think I’m too old. My periods have started getting slightly “weird” in the sense that they are lighter and shorter than they have been in the past. Could I be menopausal?! IT makes me SO ANGRY that my 40 year old co-worker who has been dating a 22 year of for fun, just “accidentally” got pregnant and is having an abortion next week. I would KILL to get knocked up!

I will almost be completing 29 years.I am getting married in November this year. I think of starting a family after 2 years. But I would be beyond 30 then.Can there be any complications in conceiving or giving birth then?I do not support taking of fertility drugs.
Trying to conceive… Help!!!?
We have been trying to conceive for a couple of months now… and nothing. I started looking into fertility drugs and have no idea what I am looking for. I’m not infertile and either is he. I have tried ovulation predictors and monitoring my fluids for ovulation but I still have had no luck. Does anyone know of any GOOD fertility enhancers that WORK? Please help. BTW im VERY irregular.

I heard that fertility drugs are very expensive and did some research online and found a supplement called Ovulex that some people used and got pregnant but it’s been discontinued everywhere, so I found a few other herbal remedies…. does anyone know anything about FertilPlus, Fertility Blend and Fertilaid? or any other suggestions?

The “truth” is that fertility begins to decline at age 30, after more radical than 35 years, and his descent from there all. I’m 31 and have been TTC for almost five years.
