Lets say she is young, fertile, and healthy. She needs money to help support her family, and a fertility clinic is offering her up to 8,000 bucks to collect one cycle of eggs. Is this morally wrong in your opinion? And what is your religious stance?
I found out that the standard fee is 3,000 dollars. For college educated (intelligent) and pretty young women it cam be thousands higher. Some earn up to 10,000 per donation.
The goal is to be pretty and smart enough to be chosen for donation. Lets assume the woman is in this case. (By the way Donna, you can sign up at your local fertility clinic. Whether or not you -as an individual- will earn that much is up to your own genes.)

I’m going through my fourth miscarriage today. The OB/GYN don’t seem to think there is anything wrong. That miscarriages just happen. Well, I have two healthy boys. I had two m/c before them and now two after them. I would like one more child. I think I’m lacking some vit. in my diet. And would like to take a fertility supplement NOT herbs. My OB doesn’t support herbs so this way she can’t be negative about it.
Thanks.
not sure if it’s the clotting issue. I had two normal full term births. How could this be?
Michelle H: thanks for your answer but read the question more closely, I don’t want herbs.
