I’m going through my fourth miscarriage today. The OB/GYN don’t seem to think there is anything wrong. That miscarriages just happen. Well, I have two healthy boys. I had two m/c before them and now two after them. I would like one more child. I think I’m lacking some vit. in my diet. And would like to take a fertility supplement NOT herbs. My OB doesn’t support herbs so this way she can’t be negative about it.

I’m working on a fantasy fiction novel, which will be a loose retelling of beauty and the beast. I’ve already got the beast down perfectly, I just want to put a new spin on Beauty. Here’re some thoughts –

1) She used to be a lady, but because she’s infertile her husband disowned her and w/no family to go to, she’s been working as a tavern whore the last few years. The Beast’s manservant comes to the tavern looking for someone to sate the beast’s carnal needs and Beauty’s the only one who volunteers.

2) She’s actually the maid/slave of Beauty’s father, who sent her to the castle in his daughter’s place figuring the Beast wouldn’t know any different since he’s never met Beauty. (he tells the maid/slave not to reveal herself or the Beast will kill her because he’s been tricked)

3) Beauty had a rough life and has been working as a tavern whore most of it. Through a series of misshaps, a fairy “blesses” her with infertility, not realizing it’s actually a curse. Beauty hears that the Beast has healing herbs at his castle, so she breaks in to steal them.

4) Beauty is a thief who impersonates a pregnant woman down on her luck to get people to stop their carriages on deserted roads, then she robs them blind. A fairy gets wind of this and curses Beauty with infertility and when her period comes on each month, she goes catatonic* b/c of the intensity of the pain. As a result, Beauty goes to steal herbs from the Beast and gets caught.

I see several different companies supply Maca – a herb supplement that helps sexual drive and infertility. Does anyone suggest a good company to go with that supplies Maca? There is a dark bottle I see of Maca that sells for $30. But than I see another company that makes Maca and sells for $14. If you have tried maca which company did you go with?

Also who makes a good natural multivitamin?

My husband and I are trying to conceive and I want to use natural fertility enhancers and was wondering out of these two did any of you or anyone you know get pregnant from taking this and how long did you take it before you found out you were pregnant. Thanks in advance.

I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and I can say from my home in that ovulation tests two or three times a year. We agreed that we are ready to try for a baby but my husband refuses to let me take Clomid, which is what my doctor suggested. She wants to start Provera, then the control of my cycle and start the clomid at the right time, but my husband says he does not like the way it is. . . he thinks it takes away the romance of it and he wants to try ourselves for one year or less. My doctor tried to explain the chances of falling pregnant with me on mine are very rare, but it does not move. He says he has faith that God will help me develop ourselves. I think because he was raised by a mother who was a hippie macrobiotic eating alone in his life has never taken prescription drugs and believes that all diseases can be cured, including macro PCOS Herbal and diet. I’m not a vegetarian diet or eat healthy macro but I lost about 100 pounds (I am now 150 pounds), I exercise and I eat lots of vegetables and fruits. I do not know how to convince him to try clomid. I do not think I can handle a year of negative pregnancy tests. advice? appreciate the advice, but I can say with certainty that the children they want. He is the one who introduced the idea of trying to get pregnant you just really want that to happen naturally and do not receive, it is not possible.
