I suffer from infertility but my husband doesn’t want to use treatments. Advice?

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and I can say from my home in that ovulation tests two or three times a year. We agreed that we are ready to try for a baby but my husband refuses to let me take Clomid, which is what my doctor suggested. She wants to start Provera, then the control of my cycle and start the clomid at the right time, but my husband says he does not like the way it is. . . he thinks it takes away the romance of it and he wants to try ourselves for one year or less. My doctor tried to explain the chances of falling pregnant with me on mine are very rare, but it does not move. He says he has faith that God will help me develop ourselves. I think because he was raised by a mother who was a hippie macrobiotic eating alone in his life has never taken prescription drugs and believes that all diseases can be cured, including macro PCOS Herbal and diet. I’m not a vegetarian diet or eat healthy macro but I lost about 100 pounds (I am now 150 pounds), I exercise and I eat lots of vegetables and fruits. I do not know how to convince him to try clomid. I do not think I can handle a year of negative pregnancy tests. advice? appreciate the advice, but I can say with certainty that the children they want. He is the one who introduced the idea of trying to get pregnant you just really want that to happen naturally and do not receive, it is not possible.

I want to know if someone has already taken the herbs (without prescription) and was able to switch to conceive. If yes, what kind of herbs are tried and for how long? I read about different herbs such as Maca, which is supposed to regulate the hormones women naturally. *** My experience that I’m 28, I have no children, I was diagnosed with the syndrome, which produce enough estrogen and progesterone, and tried to conceive for a some time without success. I intend to take out insurance at my job in May during open enroll for me to take a fertility drug, but I hope that maybe if I try the herbal route that I can work and can finally be mamá.Gracias advance, Melissa

Anyone with this infertility problem?

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

My Dr diagnosed me with polycystic syndrome Ovarion or (PCOS) earlier this year. Basically, that means I have multiple cysts on the ovaries, which will not explode, causing a hormonal imbalance. My body produce estrogen but not progesterone. I have a higher level of testosterone. (Male hormone) in collaboration with other symptoms such as pain, irregular cycles, a major problem and some minor stuff. More than five years has been DR tryign to solve my problem, until finally in March that I was diagnosed oudl. She immediately put me on a progesterone cream to help balance my hormones. I also went to a plan (UPP for the holidays, then I blew up) and took several vitamins and herbs. My cycles have become regular. 2 months ago my DR I start checking my basal body temperature to see if I was ovulating. (PCOS casued my ovulation and infertility). Nothing in my basal temperature was said ovulation. Meanwhile, my husband and I have tried all the stuff that we know the position DN. Do I have a son who is 8. It was a reslut of pregnancy in adolescence. . . so obviously it is possible to get preggers em rite? Last month my cycle was very lite ASND lasted one day. I SUPPS to start this weekend, but are not usually symptoms of premenstrual syndrome. I was tested and was negative PG. I had some symptoms like fatigue, headaches and nase, with a milky white discharge. But as I said the test was negative. I was under stress this last month due to holidays and the final for the college and the father beign in the ICU. So. . here is my Q Has anyone heard of polycystic ovary syndrome? Do you know a remedy? Is there a site that can help you? Why should I do so, and then come up with strange symptoms? I can stop eating during the holidays such damage acasue much? Or is all the stress? or I will not pregers and the proof is detected? I am not yet pregnant. Anyone experiencing this problem or know anythign botulism this condition? Anyone have algunaComo I said, I was on a diet and lost 28 pounds. Although I recognize the problems increased again during the holidays. . . . could not, do not give my eggnog. She wanted to put me on birth control, but I decided not to take it for three reasons. . . . . A want a baby. 2. . . birth control makes me sicker and more probs casued and 3. . . . birth control conatins large amounts of estrogen. My body produces estrogen progeterone but no. . estrogen levels casusint be through the roof. That’s why he put me on a progesterone cream to rub on the skin twice a day. This is the period AHD strange coincidence that last month? It is very ite DN daya Thanksgiving, almost nonexistent. I begin this weeknd SUPPS no sign. I could go out of my diet during the holidays have doen the damage> well? Or you can stress to me? Or maybe preggers possible. . . . Even if the test says noSólo meant sry for all the typos. . He intended to hit the spell check and accidentally posted before me
